The collection of problems MULTIPLE-CHOICE TESTS IN MATHEMATICS continues the tradition of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca of selecting future students through an admission contest based on multiple-choice questions. This collection was created with the purpose of contributing to better preparation of candidates for admission and familiarizing them with this type of questions.
Structured into four chapters: Algebra, Mathematical Analysis, Analytic Geometry, and Trigonometry, the collection helps to review the material from the Baccalaureate syllabus. Covering all levels of difficulty, from very simple problems requiring minimal knowledge to problems whose solutions demand thorough understanding, the work is useful for all categories of students preparing for a mathematics exam.
Each proposed problem is followed by five answers, of which only one is correct. At the end, the correct answers and solution hints are provided.
